It appears that Portable SSDs are not recognized in Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5, under PSSD Host SW v.1.6.3 or 1.6.4.
Samsung Portable SSD Software 1.6.2
Solution 1: Install and use the PSSD Host SW 1.6.2 (with Mac OS Mojave 10.14.5)
Solution 2: Use the 'password disable' condition of PSSD Host SW.
Solution 3: Change the PSSD driver setting configuration of Macbook
① Booting the system into recovery mode (“command + R” key + power on)
② Open the “terminal” while in recovery mode
③ Type on the terminal : “spctl kext-consent add 8S33FS7Q5Q”
④ Reboot the system and login normal
⑤ If PSSD SW was installed it works normally, But If PSSD SW is not installed, Please install it.
OR
① Booting the system into recovery mode (“command + R” key + power on)
② Open the “terminal” while in recovery mode
③ Type on the terminal : “csrutil disable”
④ Reboot the system and normal log-in
⑤ Re-install the PSSD SW
⑥ Open the “terminal” while in recovery mode
⑦ Type on the terminal : “csrutil enable” and rebooting
